“What ” “Huh ” “That’s loopy.” And so on. And so forth.
However, within the face of a totally loaded platter of worry, anxiety, and the unknown, I went for it. And when fear did rise to the surface and – oh boy – did it! – (no job, no money coming in, no actual data of how to write a book, no agent, no writer), I used my ‘worry’ meditation/visualization to catapult me from caught to motion!
Every afternoon I had a meltdown. So, I gave myself 20 minutes of hiding beneath the covers (actually), and then I dusted myself off and practiced my ‘fear’ meditation/visualization. After which – feeling refreshed and more confident, I went back to working on writing my first guide (Our Lady of Weight loss) and recreating my life.
I’d like to share this visualization with you now, if I might!
Fear to Freedom
Imagine gathering all of your fear … pulling it from the front … bits and pieces of charred glass, unfastened strings, thin wire, static strains – to the left – unfastened ends and remnants of the previous – and to the best – concern, unease and the angst of the future. A quick sweep round – full circle – in all directions – gather any debris, any floating particles that will have gotten previous you.
And taking all these bits, items and components of worry and the vitality – the adrenaline – that comes with them – and now crammed with nice determination – your fingers purposefully pack these fragments collectively – clearing the air, when you amass a small, very hard ball – like a baseball – with its onerous clean cover and crimson stitches.
Rub your arms over the ball; toss it out of your left hand to your right hand – feel its sting as it hits one palm after which the opposite – consider its energy. Toss the ball up and down into the air, up and down – Now dealing with your worry, like a hall-of-famer, you seize hold of a pen and sign the ball. Your signature with its hidden message – making this ball that a lot more effective and beneficial.
And with ball in one hand and bat in the opposite, you stand erect, and as you toss the ball into the air, you are feeling a cool breeze caress your face – and the breeze connects you to your intention – after which with nice confidence, resolve and super want-power you now slam into the ball that holds all that has ever or will ever get in your natural wave hair manner. You hear the crack of the bat and watch the ball because it flies over the fence and into the clouds – writing the hidden message within the wind – crusing out of sight – a grand slam house run.
And for the primary time, you notice that you are not alone. The stadium is crammed to capacity and your crew as properly because the opposing staff is current – all cheering for you, as you simply and effortlessly run the bases. Touching first base – your coronary heart begins to sing… as you flip the nook and run previous second base – you hear the roar of the group; third base – you’re taking your baseball cap off and wave to the gang, and while you attain house plate, you toss your cap high up into the air and as it returns to your hand, you take in a deep breath, filling your lungs with the candy odor of recent air. You might be secure.
And now stuffed with great vitality and a sense of objective and resolve, you return to the duties at hand that will catapult you and your desires over the fence, by means of the clouds, and into another stratosphere.
Be at liberty to hold onto this, read it, change the phrases to suit your vision of how to collect up your worry and move on.
